The meaning of the number 11 in the NT is RESURRECTION.
There were 11 disciples who witnessed the resurrection from the 1st day till the 40th day. Judas was dead and Matthias was not chosen yet. Again and again they are mentioned as the Eleven.
Lazarus was resurrected in John 11. Our heroes in faith are described in Hebrews 11, waiting for a better resurrection. The Two Witnesses are resurrected in Revelation 11, verse 11.
There are 66 books in the Bible, 6 times 11. 6 is the number of man and 11 is the number of the resurrection. The Bible is the book about the death and resurrection (11) of the Son of man (6). If man (6) believes in this sacrifice, he will live again in the resurrection (11).
I just had to say that from all the explanations that I have read for this 11 thing I found this explanation of Resurrection as the most wonderful and the only one that I think and hope is true. It gives me hope. Thank you for that.

number 11 = Resurrection. It was very helpful to me personally per what I experienced today:
Today in Trance, I had received the number 11 via direct voice from an internal guide.Prior to that I a received a Vision of Jesus Christ on the Cross and bit later, I saw a multitude of beings 'folks' coming out of the ground.They were being let out from a hole under the ground. Then I was given a vision of a Scarab Beetle which was facing A Golden Realm. Later yet the Light burst within me and this time it was White Light.It was after all this happened in Trance, when I was given the number 11.
Right away I thought it's meaning would lie in the context of all what had transpired/revealed. The Crucifixion vision being the central point as well as of course the Burst of Golden and White Light, but was not able to quite put it all together. Your interpretation of the Esoteric meaning of number 11 not only fits my own experience today, but also seems the Lord himself guided me to find it here posted to confirm my own take.
It was just only yesterday that I was reading somewhere that the number 11 is a verrry bad number...as it also posted here above citing the Hebrews.
Oh' well..to each his own take..but I believe this is the correct Context in the light of my own amazing experience today.
What can I say: I am so grateful..since It has been a grueling and very long Awakening process and still ongoing..and hope the culmination of the journey of the soul is indeed as is stated in Christian Scripture: Resurrection!
